It’s been nearly two years since I directed and shot ‘I Did’ and now Chris and I are embarking on a brand new short film entitled ‘Go With Him’.
The film stars Josh Cook as a man who has a confession to make. One that he has been wanting to get off his chest for a very long time and now he has made up his mind and has told it.
Here is the first poster for the film
Chris and I were very clear with each other that neither of us wanted to make something which was sad (which given the synopsis above could be). We want to make films that make us smile. Essentially we want to make the films that we want to watch.
We only have one shooting day to get everything we need in the camera and in traditional indie film style, we’re doing it with a minimal crew but with a fantastic cast and a great location.
We never intended to take this long to get the ball rolling on the next film, but now we are coming up to filming I’m feeling very excited about what we can achieve with this film (as always, its a cracking script and a superb cast).
Throughout the day we’ll (I say we’ll, I mean me) will taking some behind the scenes shots which you can follow on Instagram and Twitter and hopefully some behind the scenes video as well.
Also keep an eye out for future blogs about the lighting, sound and camera work for ‘Go With Him’ which will feature in the coming months.
Thanks for reading and I’ll see you on the next blog.
